Lacrosse Winnipeg is excited to see the projected number of teams increasing for the upcoming season. This increase in teams, along with spring break pushing our season back a week this year, means having to fit more games into an even shorter season. We are actively working to keep the season ending at the same time, however, there is a chance that a few games will need to be played in July.
For u13, u15 and u17, the Clubs are going to form teams by grouping players according to skill level. We feel it is important for players to learn and play with other athletes that have a similar skill level, to ensure all players are engaged in the game as much as possible. Teams will be placed in either a ‘Club’ or ‘Competitive’ level for the season.
